Intro:
1, 2… it’s Ric Flo
Lack of Afro
(But you know I’m not lacking right)
Yeah
Uh…check uh
Verse 1
The back of the bus activist
Rosa Parks flow with a twist
The nonchalant analyst
If you’ve got an idea, I’ll be catalyst to pattern it
Spark the brain for 2pocalypse
Change can’t remain anonymous
From a background where statistics are horrid
I can’t be a victim to a system
That’s broken, rotten, I gotta exhibit my own
Tate Modern
Turn scars to art, spark darkness
Awaken lost fathers, (fuck ‘em)
Break the cycle, reinvent the fruit of the youth
Let resilience take the title
Vital, more grooves than what meets the vinyl
You’re just scratching on the surface
Mind churns, the world turns
Money to earn, heartbeats, eat, sleep to beats
And write the wizard’s wordsworths
Real recognise real, vocabulary spills ill
Fuck what you heard, trust
Chorus
Triumphant, we does this
Flow to bad up the function
Bring the fire to the bunsen
Inspiration is fleeting
Allow that, we put the work in,
Work it.
Verse 2
Country bumpkin, outsider street fighter,
Tell tales, Pied Piper, light writer, graphic designer
Artistic, dyslexic like Einstein
So I’m fine bright mind,
Imaginative and feeling fantastic
Rectifying bad habits, realising the math and the mechanics
Uh, my body’s my temple,
World is the palace,
Cupping the mic like a chalice
in Wonderland like Alice
the reflection of intention, creation is magic, yeah!
Chorus
Bridge
Battle the field, in one small victory
Focus your mind, destine your history
The world is yours, be sure make the most of it
Coz triumph is gold, yeah yeah yeah yeah
Verse 3:
The earth’s my residence
Between the margin lies the sentence
Now hold me to my bars even when I’m in heaven
Or cooking up hell, which playground?
Time will tell.
Until than I’m fresh to death, in my human shell
Elevated, leaving gold dust you’re free to take it
The world is yours make the most, rake it
With the intention of planting a seed
Coz if you don’t grow a tree
What have you achieved?

Took a couple of plays but now it just slots right in with all the other Allergies tracks that I love so much!

The Allergies are one of my favorite music artists, hands down! This inspired funky as can be music is so addictive, be warned. It ranges from funky soul, Northern Soul stylings, 60's styled Motown or Spector, Conscious Hip-Hop, Latin, Gospel, 70's Soul; my favorite is more like my favorite tracks, (plural): Every Trick in the Book & Get Yourself some, not a dud track. Honestly, you won't be disappointed.**DJs & Audiophiles comes on double Orange pressing at 45 RPM for club. Music Junkie 4 Life
